Warren Women's Expo 2011 on Saturday, October 15, 2011
It was a fantastic event this year. I sold a total of 12 books, met some wonderful people,
and the Networking was fabulous. I made contact with more libraries, schools, social
workers, and asked to be speaker on 'bullying' when the next gathering takes place for
students in St. Charles.
Northern Secondary School Library in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario are now the proud owners
of a set of my books.
The most interesting offer granted to me was to work with the Outreach Program at the
Family Resource Centre in Sturgeon Falls. I am waiting for a meeting as I type and have
confirmation as to what will be entailed by this exciting offer. I will go to local schools to
speak about bullying & violence. I will include updates at a future time.
A few photos of my book signing during the Expo are below. My photographer was kept pretty busy himself throughout the day.
I wish to thank my dear husband, Rick, for the photos and a great job
watching my table and taking over when I was networking with other businesses.
